2026 Interior Design Price Guide: what do you really pay per square metre?

Our industry is emerging from an era when discussing price was taboo. We argue the opposite: uncertainty is the most expensive enemy of both client and designer. This guide shares our own prices and market averages, as of summer 2026.

Design service: TRY 1,800–4,200/m² The per-m² fee covers survey, concept, technical design, material schedules, 3D visuals and site coordination. Three things set the range: size (small spaces cost more per m²), the bespoke ratio, and the condition of the existing building. Our 120 m² residential minimum exists to spread set-up costs fairly.

Turnkey: TRY 22,000–55,000/m² Here design + construction + finishes + standard furniture merge into one price. Structural alterations, permits, appliances and hardscape are excluded. For a 150 m² apartment, TRY 3.3–8.2M is realistic; material inflation has moved the middle of that band up from about TRY 4.8M in 2025.

Why ranges? The same 100 m² can be solved for TRY 900K or TRY 3M; material class and bespoke ratio decide. Our firm quote after the survey typically deviates from the range by under 10%. Transparent ranges prevent projects that start with wrong expectations — both sides win.
